You are mistaken. The radical Left has never supported the middle class. In fact, they despise it as a great satanic child of the rich capitalist. What you want to do to satisfy and honor the memory of your Lord Marx, is over the next four months brainwash the working class into hating the middle and upper classes. Run your candidates on the Revolutionary ticket and splurge for lots and lots of Cuban cigars. You're going to need them post Revolutionary victory to burn in your sinks and fireplaces after state run utilities go broke.

I am actually for raising taxes on everyone, and decreasing government spending, I also realize no one would win on that platform, politicians do what is popular and are not about long term solutions.

It seems to work out well for politicians, they just keep promising and they get votes. Look at the campaign cycles for the last 30 years, the best promiser gets the votes.
