Here's how to fix the stalemate:

Republicans should agree to:

1. All tax increases proposed by the Democrats
2. All cuts in military spending proposed by the Democrats

The Democrats should agree to:

1. All cuts to entitlements proposed by the Republicans.

That should be the deal and the American people should know it.

Let them all have what they want and let them own it.
