Ayn Rand. Hardcore atheist. Philosopher. Founder of Objectivism. Author of many books, most popular of which is Atlas Shrugged, a work of science-fiction, first published in 1957, depicting a socialist nanny-state dystopia that looks startlingly like modern America.

Most American Atheist philosophy can be traced to her writings. She made Atheism in American popular.
