To be honest? 7.5 years is a long time. If you are going to let someone out eventually, I say I support letting people who are given 20 years out in 10 for good behavior. 10 years is a lifetime in prison.

We take a chance every time we let a violent criminal out of prison. Maybe we shouldn't? I can say most of the murderers on tv shows I see where they interview the murderer, I would put a bullet in the back of their heads. But in 30 years we feel sorry and take a chance and let them out. Meanwhile their past victims are still either dead or sad.

Well, circumstances matter. Will these murderers get out and murder again? Probably not. So that's a big reason I would let them out in 7.5 years. That's a long time.

This is why we don't let the victims families decide their fate. Of course they'd always put them to death or life in prison without the possibility of parole.

This may sound bad but I have empathy for prison guards and people who take care of Alzheimer patients when I find out they beat the shit out of the patient/inmate. My mom had Alzheimers and I just about wanted to kill her. And I love her! My sister in law is taking care of her mom and now knows what I meant when I said I wanted to kill my mom because she said it about her mom the other day. LOL. Empathy.

Prison guards have to deal with disrespectful monsters who won't listen. What would you do to a child who acted like them? You'd beat the shit out of them. The man was handcuffed behind his back as they punched and kicked his groin, carried him upside down by his cuffs with his arms hyper extended. They also put something into his mouth and then repeatedly punched his mouth.

One of the assholes even used a boot to hit the man in his groin.

Even after the guy is totally wiped, they continue to physically brutalize him. It turned into a game.

Not one person in the mob tried to stop what was happening. Not one.

Regardless of his crime, prison guards are not executioners. The are there to safely warehouse inmates while they serve their sentences. Punishment for rules violations may and should be executed, but only in a lawful manner.
