Regardless of his crime, prison guards are not executioners. The are there to safely warehouse inmates while they serve their sentences. Punishment for rules violations may and should be executed, but only in a lawful manner.

Prison guards have to deal with disrespectful monsters who won't listen. What would you do to a child who acted like them? You'd beat the shit out of them. I was watching court tv. Two minor negros shot a school bus. Injured 3 and killed 2. They were being tried as adults and could get life without the possibility of parole.

Now a part of me says take em out back and shoot them but the other half says they are minors and should only get life with the possibility of parole. And that means out in 20 years.

7.5 years, 20 years. I think if you are going to let them out again, better to let them out in 7.5 years. Then maybe they can become productive members of society and assimilate back into society. If you are going to put them away for 20 years, you're not going to see a productive member of society getting out. Too old and too set in the prison way. So if you are going to let them out, trust me, 7.5 years is a lifetime. It's more than enough time for murder.

Now if it's my family member, I say kill them or throw away the key. That's why we don't let family members decide the fate of the criminal. Should we?

This beating was done in the prison infirmary. In one body cam video, you can see two RNs just standing there watching.

They did nothing to stop it.

I am not excusing anything, but I just want to say that, this black inmate, when he was still alive, must have been a very unlikable person. He probably alienated all the staff with his behaviors. People must have wanted to beat the crap out of him for a really long time. Now, add to the mix that prison guards are kind of thug-like themselves, and you get this.

Well, I remember hearing about a case, where someone was burned alive, and the perp was given only 10 years. Of course, the victim was white, so nobody shed any tears. But a Negro got beaten to death (which, though awful, is less painful than being burned alive), and suddenly white people's tears know no bounds.

I think he was joking. But I do agree that prison inmates are some of the worst scum/monster on earth, and who will respond to literally nothing except physical pain. I don't know all the facts, but I am guessing that the guards probably just wanted to give him a beating (because he was such an incorrigible monster), but it went too far.

Why all the butt-hurt and tears? I don't understand. Just because I am not crying myself into a river over the death of a black man, it does not mean you should now talk to me like this.

Maybe in this particular story, the guards wanted more than to beat him up. But, in a lot of other similar prison beating cases, I bet that's what's going on. Have you ever been to the inside of a prison, sir? Have you ever dealt with hardcore criminals? Some criminals are so hardened and so incorrigible, that they really would try the patience of a saint.
