Balance is key. Either extreme can do you in.

This sounds like another moral equivalency argument. The "Right vs. Left" comparison is a political concoction designed to justify government excesses on the basis that "others" would do the same (or worse) if they were in power. The real comparison is between individual liberty and authoritarian control. We all know which side "Progressives" are on.

On numerous occasions posters who vote Democrat state that the two parties are the same.....but when challenged they can't support their claim.
