Kalashnikov ammunition and Islamic State propaganda videos were seized in raids following the closure of a mosque in the Paris suburbs, French authorities said on Sunday.

The prayer hall in Lagny-sur-Marne, around 30 kilometres (18 miles) east of the capital, was shut down last Wednesday following a large-scale police operation.

Associated with the traditionalist Salafist branch of Islam, it is the third mosque in France to be closed after the coordinated jihadist attacks on Paris on November 13.

Kalashnikov ammunition and Islamic State propaganda videos were seized in raids following the closure of a mosque in the Paris suburbs, French authorities said on Sunday.

So? Not arresting those who know of what's going on and letting it happen is why it keeps going. Just like the San Bernardino grandma living in the IED factory of her kids.

Unfortunately it is not a matter of people going to the same mosque or suspecting there might be something else going on there. It is a matter of what they can prove that particular people "knew" or engaged in incitement, terrorism, recruiting, bomb making or other crimes.

SB's family should have know, it might have been suspected of knowing, but till recently there was no prove of knowing or involvement. Now the string tightens on those involved. That situation is far from closed.

Paris also will be an open investigation for some time.
