Americans spend less of their income on food than almost ever

Well, we had pork tenderloin, perogies, and a vegetable yesterday and it worked out to less than $3.00 a serving.....Plus there are leftovers I'll enjoy in about an hour. ;)

Cooking at home is cheap.....Your $7-$8 "value box" of trash food delivered by Door Dash, not so much. 😐

It's no wonder our poor are so obese. They are encouraged to buy nothing but sugary sh*t. Welfare food programs should be specific food only, even have it's own pre-selected warehouses and centers.

We pay for them, they buy nothing but sh*t, and then we pay for their health problems on the back end. I'm not some monument of health these days, but I work and am not relying on everyone else to pay for me. If I had to go on welfare.. I'd be humble about it, and if I was given bananas, rice, chicken, etc.. I'd be greatful for food, and would likely have far healthier than many who are on food stamps today.
