American bumblebee could be officially declared endangered

Well as fall advances here in the north I can say for certain that there is no shortage of Yellow Jacket Wasps.
They are horrible and angry this time of year.

Jesus, the Boxelder bugs are swarming too.

You know how bumblebees sometimes hover up in front of you for some reason? Snake loads in a .22 revolver are a fun way to blow them out of the sky.

no bees, no humans.

It is that simple

The biggest original contributor of bumblebee declines was the introduction of the European Honeybee to North America.

If the current decline is something else, the whole shit fit a few years ago about honeybee populations crashing, which turned out to be bullshit, won't help current matters.

US honeybee boom: ‘Not only are they not in decline or endangered, their increase in numbers may be responsible for declines in other bee populations’

The wild honeybee population has been in decline since the bee-mite was introduced. Do bumbles suffer from the same problem?
