I hear about all of these gofundme pages and other donation websites set up for the people who lost their homes in LA. Being the fact that most of these people voted for Biden/Kamala/Newsom so they got what they voted for but, these people lost MULTI MILLION DOLLAR MANSIONS. That means these people have a lot of money. I don't feel its right for multi millionaires to ask poor folks for donations. Dig into your bank account and pay for your own stuff. You literally lost a house in the richest city and neighborhood in the United States. Now I absolutely am not happy they lost their homes and I can't imagine how upset their little rich butts are that they have to start over with nothing, but I've started over with nothing 3 times before my 40th birthday. I didn't ask anyone for anything. And I'm still not a multi millionaire but I am on my own. I'm sure they lost a lot of irreplaceable things and I'm not happy this happened. I surely don't wish bad things on any of these people, but THEY choose to live in a fire prone area. If you play with the bull long enough, eventually you get the horns.

Now the people in North Carolina, oh yea, those people need help. They didn't have much BEFORE the rain washed their shacks downriver.

The rest of the country is dealing with an inflation crisis

It is every man for himself!!

Don't worry, your tax dollar will all go there eventually. Gavin probably calculated that it would be far easier just to let everything burn and be reimbursed by Uncle Sam than it would to pay to build adequate reservoirs to hold water so their fire hydrants work, that and cutting staff on the fire department saved them lots of money as well. Oh, and why pay people to declutter the debris from the forest so they don't go up in flames as well? Just let it burn and let the Feds rebuilt.

It's the same thing in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina devastated the area because their damns are not sufficient to deal with that category hurricane, But what does the local government care since the Feds paid for everything.

And guess what, they still refuse to spend their own money to build a damn to stop it from happening again.

California is the 6th largest economy in the world. California needs no help. California would spend the money on queer story books for 8 year old boys, so keep your money.

Nope, I don't think so.

What makes you think everyone in Los Angeles is rich with a multi million dollar home?

There’s working class people with humble homes in LA just like there is in North Carolina.

With that said, I think gofundme pages are stupid
