true----but TRADITIONALLY--it has been called an "apple"-----for the record----the hebrew word that is translated to "APPLE" is not always----of the MacIntosh type. For example----a potato is called "TAPUACH" apple---ADAMA ---literally---apple of the ground. ------it was something on a tree that one could BITE and say YUMMY. It could have been a peach------or pear----or----

I am under the impression that once Adam and Eve were removed from the garden, that they (human kind) no longer had access to that particular fruit again. I could be wrong.
