A true conservative and Republican and even a Trump supporter can strongly disagree with Garland and many things in the DOJ while also seeing the absurdity of wanting to put a clown like Matt Gaetz in charge of it. This is not a position for an unserious political actor. The senate needs to grow a pair and stand up to trump on some of these picks.

I think this is an intentional play by Trump to root out people in Congress who won’t blindly support him and the sad thing is it works on puppets like the OP.

Based on what evidence? What evidence did they have to bring an investigation? Unnamed sources and 'allegations'? And wasn't he cleared by the DOJ of any wrong doing?
