It was only meant to be a descriptor of a geographical location/territory in my post but it definitely has borders. The Mandate for Palestine Was an administration not a place. It had no territory, borders, or sovereignty.
Those were Palestine's borders during the Mandate, Palestine's borders after the Mandate left, and Palestine's borders after Israel declared itself to be a state. It was only meant to be a descriptor of a geographical location/territory in my post but it definitely has borders.
Those were the borders of the Mandate for Palestine. When Israel declared independence as the sovereign in the territory, those borders were transferred to her. There was no other government in 1948 who had legal claim. Those were Palestine's borders during the Mandate, Palestine's borders after the Mandate left, and Palestine's borders after Israel declared itself to be a state.
Not so.Those were the borders of the Mandate for Palestine. When Israel declared independence as the sovereign in the territory, those borders were transferred to her. There was no other government in 1948 who had legal claim.
Not so.

No link?Common law principle of uti possidetis juris. Transfers existing administrative boundaries to the new sovereign at the moment of independence.

I am disappointed. You are actually one of the most educated on this board when it comes to law, treaties, and conventions. You don't already know about this? And/or you can't be bothered to look it up? So disappointed. You said it, you prove it.
OK, but I cannot find any evidence that Israel has sovereignty over any of Palestine.I am disappointed. Uti possidetis juris
Edited to add: I'm not sure this new knowledge of yours changes our fundamental disagreement though, since we both (as far as I understand) agree that territory we can call "Mandate Palestine" for ease of conversation has never been divided and remains one territorial unit (ignoring Oslo). Our fundamental disagreement who is sovereign and who attempting secession.
