I have just watched a civil discussion on CNN.

(1) I learned that the Israeli electorate has moved to the right in recent years. (I guess that is why Mr. Netanyahu is the longest-serving prime minister in the country's history.)

(2) Most Palestinians have long opposed a two-state solution. (I guess that they feel that there should be no Jewish state.)

One thing for sure: 2024 is going to be a rough year for a President Biden or a President Harris or a President Trump or a President Haley when it comes to the Middle East.
