All The Good News You Missed While Being Overwhelmed By The Bad News

It sure is for the farmers I work with, especially the ones that listened and planted winter wheat.

As for why wheat is up...well it has to do with this little country called Ukraine, perhaps you have heard of it?

No shit, Sherlock. Biden’s failures in foreign policy is leading to a catastrophe in domestic goods. Oil, fuel, wheat, fertilizer are all skyrocketing now, which means we will all pay for Biden’s failures.

Of course dupes like you will pretend to be “proud” to pay more for everything. Because bash the fash or some shit.

Funny how for you all it is 100% Biden's fault that Russia invaded Ukraine, god fucking forbid you give Putin any responsibility.

I am not proud to pay more for anything, screw that. We can afford it, but that does not mean I am happy about it.

Even if you don’t want to blame Biden for Putin invading Ukraine, he is responsible for the cancel culture reaction.

I would rather blame Putin for Putin invading Ukraine. You though can keep giving him a free pass for his actions.

What is a "cancel culture reaction"?

These is no way around the fact that the situation in Russia and Ukraine is distressing, worrying, outrageous, and awful.
Sometimes, when awful things are going on like this, we bury ourselves in news about it. We are unable to turn away. Other times, we avoid all news because we can’t deal with it.

In both cases you end up missing all the good news that is out there. And that doesn’t help anyone’s wellbeing and ability to actively contribute to a better world.

So here is some good news from this week to provide some balance and relief so you can deal with the tough stuff and even act to make things better.

Don’t you feel better now?
People going back to work isn't "new jobs created"...lol

Stop being stupid. Biden’s sanctions, banks cutting off Russians, stopping their gas and oil exports.

I assumed that is what you were talking about, but always best to make sure.

I support all those things. There are 3 possible reactions to Russia invading Ukraine.

We could just pretend it never happened.

We could send our troops in and maybe start WWIII

We can punish Putin and the Russian people till they pull out of Ukraine.

I think the 3rd is the only viable option, and yes I am willing to pay more if it helps to free the people of the Ukraine.

Oddly enough it was in 2020 when the Admin then was claiming to have created 4 million jobs in one month.

Funny how these things change when the party of the person sitting in the White House changes

You're grasping, now...lol. So much for claiming you don't defend Biden...lol

just pointing out the facts. Whether jobs were created or not is 100% dependent upon who is sitting in the White House.

There were a dozen threads on this forum praising Trump for creating so many jobs in May and June of 2020. Now those same people are going "these jobs do not count" despite making Trump out to be a god for creating so many

Irrelevant. These aren't "new jobs".

Irrelevant. These aren't "new jobs".

it is a stupid semantic argument.

if I go to the casino and lose 1000 bucks and then 3 weeks later go win 900 bucks, is the 900 new money or not?

well, really who cares I would just be happy to be up 900 from where I was a 3 weeks ago.

But you all cannot be happy about more people are working now than the month before and the month before that and the month before that.

You have to be sad/pissed/upset/assholes no matter what is the news.

We are truly living in the days of if the POTUS cured cancer the other side would attack him for the loss of jobs.

We are fucked as a country due to people like you on both sides of the aisle .
