What a wonderful interview with one of my favorite country-music singers and songwriters. I've always felt his humility and sweetness. He is one very gifted man and I have loved the man behind the music ever since hearing him in the 90's. So sad to hear his medical condition has taken a turn for the worse. Thanks so much, for sharing the video with us. He will be in my prayers.

According to this google search page here, he'll eventually be in the hospital for the birth of his grand kids because all three of his daughters are pregnant.

He and his family are in my prayers too. His music has been such a perfect combination of just what you mentioned -- humility and sweetness.

He has mostly avoided the smut that has, unfortunately, invaded the work of some other country performers, and has never hidden his deep Christian faith.

Isn't it amazing how relatively little sleaze the Jacksons have allowed into their lives? Just like George and Norma Strait. Faithful people who remained married to their high school sweethearts their entire lives!

I am so fortunate to live in a very small town, attending church in a very small parish, where high school sweethearts who've remained married for their entire lives is the NORM! I sit in the pews with MANY families like them!

I learnt to drive in one of these; old Dodge. Dad would get us to move it around the yard (about an acre) and do short trips. Been there.
