Democrats in the Alabama legislature last year brought up the possibility of introducing such a bill during the abortion debate on 2019’s HB 314, known as the Human Life Protection Act.

3rd, the total votes for this district was 2,049. Hollis represents almost no one from Alabama with that low of a vote count. And it sounds like she isn't representing those 2049, she's representing her own fruitcakiness.

The majority of women who have abortions are not good time party girls eliminating the consequences of a debauched lifestyle, as portrayed by those who think eliminating abortion would lead to "better decisions". They're poor women - wives and mothers whose birth control failed and for whom, having another child at this time, would not go well.
