He cited the possibility of how flooding in Pakistan could destabilize that country, a nuclear power, and the possible effect that continuing drought in California might have on the world’s food supply.

“Think about that,” he said. “The Dust Bowl is coming back, quickly, unless we act.”

This is what makes me not believe a word from the global warming side. The dust bowl had nothing to do with climate change. Unless one wants to consider the good years farmers had in the great plains as the change. The dust bowl happened because the land was not meant to be cultivated thus it was the great plains. For a few years they had a good amount of rain and wheat grew and the farmer got good money for their wheat. Then the bottom dropped out of wheat prices and the great plains entered a normal period of little rain. Crops failed and their was little farming done with the soil in mind, the rest is history.

Al Gore is a certified liar.
