I'm not sure what to think of this. How about "ladies, gentlemen and others." Seems inviting to all.

It brings to mind that scene in Star Trek Generations, when Data got on the mic and said, “Ladies and Gentlemen, and non-gender species”. It was a joke that made the whole theater laugh.

They should use the same line, or just say it more accurate, “ladies and gentlemen and mentally ill”.
