AI Produced Crowds at Kamala Rallies?

I don't know how many of USMB people are on X or if they can see this status and the comments with additional emphasized photos of the crowd at a supposed Kamala rally, but if this is the real deal, there are a lot of AI created or altered images in it.

Apparently there have been other Twitter posts suggesting or making it look like crowd size has been enhanced but this 'fact check' site says no:

Something seems "off" about this but I can't put my finger on it. It's definitely not as obvious as the tarmac picture, which is just terribly fake.

It looks like the fakes were inserted up front with their flags and their euphoric looks. You can see how the heads of the people one row behind the fakes get much smaller. It's an obvious adulteration, much like when you put Rosie O'Donnell's head on Raquel Welch's body. Phony people, phony pictures. MAGA

In the left section of seats, about 9 rows up, one of the women in the crowd appears to have an extra foot! Two of her shoes are Nike and the other one is some other Chinese communist copy brand.

AI can be a brilliantly useful tool in many ways--the autocorrect on our phones and computers is a form of AI for instance--but there is a huge opportunity for fraud, malicious mischief, even sabotage built into the possibilities for it. And one way it is being used is to use photos of people and alter them into credible looking new faces or create realistic looking faces/people out of whole cloth.

Video can be similarly manipulated. They can make you believe you're having a zoom conversation with Anderson Cooper or Tina Turner or Joe Biden himself. In the case with this thread though, we are dealing with a digitally falsified photograph.

It should be said that these AI digitally altered or created photos are not the same thing as photoshop that cuts out and/or replaces images and/or adds images to a photo such as you see in this one:

We have seen photos enhancing crowd size at some political rallies in the USA too but they're really easy to spot.

Definitely dishonest fact checkers, which many of them are these days, could use AI in a dishonest manner. For instance the digitally created photo in the OP could have been created by somebody on the left to use to pretend it was dishonestly put out there by Patriots/Trump supporters. That seems to be a common tactic by the left these days. I have even met two guys who told me they deliberately put out false memes and quotes and such and attribute them to Patriots to convince people of how terrible and dishonest Patriots are.

All this is to say that all who are still capable of critical thinking and intellectual honesty should be wary of internet propaganda coming from both sides these days.
