The Left needs to find another DA outside of the office of Willis to take this case and start the prosecution all over again. To be quite blunt, John? That DA probably doesn't exist in the State of Georgia right now. The most likely scenario is a DA stepping forward to accept the case simply to decline to prosecute it.

If the Georgia Supreme Court ultimately takes up the case and upholds the decision, it would fall to the director of the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia to appoint a new prosecutor. That prosecutor would have the discretion to decide whether to continue the case.

The case in place? That case can't go forward because so much of what the Prosecution put forward isn't allowable after the Supreme Court's ruling. They're going to have to start from scratch with a jury that isn't tainted and that DA is going to have to come from another office rather than Fahni Willis' office. So who's that going to be? Who wants to take over this dog of a case...argue that it's a RICO violation...which was always a joke...and go against the voters of Georgia and a sitting President who was just given a mandate by the country?

You can't restart a case where much of the testimony that's been given has been ruled to be improper by the Supreme Court, Lafayette. Doing so would be immediate grounds for a mistrial.
