After investigating Jan. 6, House GOP sides with Trump and goes after Liz Cheney

Yes, I would like to know.
No, you don't, Arlette. You want someone like Rachel Maddow or Sunny Hostin to TELL you that Trump was convicted by an impartial DA, Judge and Jury and that conviction WASN'T lawfare! You like being ignorant. It suits you.

😂 Yeah, go with that before an appeals court.

If a conviction is overturned on appeal of course it goes away. Do you not understand how our legal system functions, Arlette?
What makes you think Trump's appeal will ever succeed, when there is little chance of it?

The Georgia state trial will change prosecutors and continue.

No they are not. The hearing was NOT a criminal proceeding. Counsel is not required, but recommended. There is no crime on the part of Ms. Cheney, just another MAGA wet dreeam.
It does not need to be a criminal proceeding for there to be legitimate evidence.

There is no evidence that Cheney did anything wrong, much less criminal.

What other District Attorney is going to take on a case that was awful to start with and will now have to be totally litigated from the start because of the Supreme Court's ruling on Presidential immunity? The answer to that is NOBODY! You think they're going to be lining up to go after a President in office that just won the State of Georgia handily?

Yet she very well may be dragged through the courts and forced to spend her own money defending herself. You know...just like she made Donald Trump do for the past four years? Who do you think is going to support Liz Cheney now that she's no longer "valuable" to the left as a Republican that would sit on the Jan. 6th Committee so they could pretend that the investigation was "bipartisan"? The answer to that one is NOBODY!

That in its self is the J6 committee dilemma.......legitimate evidence.

So why is she probing under Biden's desk for a possible preemptive pardon?

And beyond that, she and another cohort, destroyed J6 evidence.

State of Georgia does not have the power to dismiss. We will have to see what the new DA does with the case. Anybody who thinks Trump is out of the woods is wrong.

She was an investigator, and the DOJ is not going to prosecute her, not even Pam Bondi.

Attack the Capitol, encourage others to attack the Capitol, create an environment to attack the Capitol: the investigation will come right back to the President,.

The Left needs to find another DA outside of the office of Willis to take this case and start the prosecution all over again. To be quite blunt, John? That DA probably doesn't exist in the State of Georgia right now. The most likely scenario is a DA stepping forward to accept the case simply to decline to prosecute it.
