And I give a shit, exactly? I have met, talked with and gotten things accomplished for the local community and state park system, talking one on one, with Governor Lee. If he wanted the National Guard to declare martial law in those cities, he would do it himself, not cede authority to have Federal troops take over law enforcement, just as other governors in this state, have done in the past, when they sent me, locked, loaded to maintain peace many years ago, which I did, as part of the ass kicker strike force contingent of the 1500 put on the streets of Memphis, as a state mission, state operation. After all, the Tennessee National Guard within the state are under his orders, and if he wants them, he will send them. At that time, it was a Democrat Governor and a Democrat Memphis Mayor. So, what does your discussion of Memphis, Chattanooga and Nashville have to do with the President taking over the Guard in a Republican state? This is the same state, when the national Republicans, during Donnies' first term wanted to run an out of state candidate in Tennessee to take a US House seat, the legislature quickly, quietly had a bill on the table to change the laws of the state to make it illegal, shutting out the out of state Trump pick. We handle our own National Guard, within the state. And, we don't call them out, to pick up trash, as in DC. Surely you are not dumb enough to think your ideas matter here.

You are fairly new in the state. Last time, the Guard was needed to maintain order, and stop violence, they were sent by the Governor, kept for a week, maintained the peace and went home after the crisis was over, and never had to pick up trash or do beautification projects, of course, that was with state dollars, not the tax payers of the United States.
