A lot of blue collar union workers turned out for Trump. My uncle, who has been a unionized welder his entire adult life, my aunt, and my cousin, their son, voted for Trump and these people have been die hard Democrats my entire life. Trumka is apparently smart enough to know he could be stirring up a hornets nest among the rank and file if he doesn't support Trump's trade war policies.

I think if this happens we are looking at a Reagan like 1984 landslide in 2020.
