I have heard the adult entertainment business is a dying business in Canada. Many places closed down. Part to demand other part due to legislation by the government.
Adult bookstores, clubs, adult video stores, adult shops are closing down in Canada. I have heard it is a lack of demand mainly.
It is dying in th US too, but not nearly as much in Canada.
I guess in the near future Canadians might need to cross over to the US border if they want to visit one of these businesses since their won't be any left in their country. Or the very few left will be horrible compared to the much more larger scale nicer ones that are in the USA.
A lot of it probably is that everything is easily accessed for free online that it took away the customers from these businesses. The adult business has moved almost all online these days.
While still a thriving business in the USA, in Canada I hear it is all but dead except for a few businesses hear and there.
I remember as a kid it was very common to hear about business meetings happening at adult gentlemen clubs, men going to adult bookstores to buy adult magazines or going to an adult video store for rentals/ buy adult movies.Even adult shops selling toys for adults is dying too. It's all online now.
