Fox News host Laura Ingraham reported Tuesday that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland is investigating Democratic California Sen. Adam Schiff for alleged mortgage fraud.

The probe follows a month-old revelation that the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) had referred Schiff’s case to the Department of Justice (DOJ), accusing him of falsifying bank documents and property records to secure more favorable loan terms, according to Fox News.

Schiff and his wife allegedly misrepresented their Maryland home as their primary residence to obtain a lower interest rate on a Fannie Mae-backed mortgage, according to the FHFA’s letter. They allegedly continued this misrepresentation through multiple refinancing transactions from 2003 to 2019, despite Schiff representing California in Congress during that period.

We know Adam Schiff is under criminal investigation by the Department of Justice for alleged mortgage fraud related to two properties. Buy what most media leaves out is that the case also involves a California homeowner's tax exemption, which allows for a reduction in property taxes to primary residence which is why people who are dishonest with connections think they can get away with it.
So am I the only one who thinks if you want to get rid of the club or thieves you have to go after their enablers as well, those breaking the law to help politicians break the laws.
The county tax collector and staff must have known Schiff was milking his authority to game the system, if so they need to be prosecuted to set precident and scare those who join in on the acts of corruption aiding it and abetting it, cultivating it and protecting it= racketeering falling under the rico act perhaps.
