Ad against Durbin to air over the weekend

Fellow Americans,

This 4th of July let us all celebrate our nation's Independence by
letting the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces know we support
them. I wanted to highlight two things Move America Forward is doing
as part of this effort.

>>> 4th of July Surprise -- On July 4, 2005 we will begin
broadcasting a new television commercial called "Tortured
Words" that takes Democrat Senator Dick Durbin to task
for equating our heroes of the Armed Forces with the
Nazis, Soviets in their Gulags and Pol Pots murderous
regime.

The ad will air both nationwide on the cable news networks (i.e. Fox
News, CNN, etc...) and in Durbin's home state of Illinois on the
broadcast networks (i.e. ABC, CBS, NBC, etc...)

* We have between now and July 3rd to raise an additional $192,000
to pay for the airtime for this ad. I need everyone's help - lest
we be embarrassed by falling short and only airing this ad on a light
frequency, thus letting Senator Durbin off the hook. Let's make
sure this ad airs night and day on July 4th and all throughout the
week.

support our troops is to go see them in Iraq. Move America Forward
is leading a delegation of talk radio hosts who will be interviewing
the men and women serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. We'll be
putting these heroes on the air to report on the accomplishments
and success stories in Iraq that the other media outlets never report.

P.S. Move America Forward Co-Chair Melanie Morgan and I have been
discussing our efforts to get our new anti-Dick Durbin/pro-U.S.
Troop ad on the air and while we've been a little stressed about
whether we have enough time to raise the money we need the one thing
that consoled us is the fact that right now we simply need to find
about 7,680 Americans to contribute an average of just $25 and
we'll have the money we need to get this ad on the air.
