Ouch!! She'll have to be in wound care for a while. That's where they wash, scrape and brush the wounds, use theraputic honey, silver sulfadiazine ointment, etc. to thwart necrotic skin and infections. Hopefully they'll use a load of lidocaine. I just got finished with that for burns I got 3 months ago.
