Active shooter incident at Catholic church in Minneapolis, reports of 2 dead and at least 20 victims....Shooter down

I bought an Ar in 2012 and I swear it was almost $700 with rounds and two clips or mags... I think I might have ordered a scope with it...
Lower-end ARs (even the better ones) are dirt cheap now as the market is flooded. Back then $700.00 did not get you much of an AR.

I bought this decent 2025 Radical Arms AR for $350.00 a couple of weeks back.

Rural King was blowing them out at $450.00 just after New Years. That's the AR market now.

Where is that law written? Fantasy or reality?
They don't write Laws regarding mental instability in sexual orientation that I've ever heard of. But -- There's a lot of things I haven't heard. Like watching Submarine races with my girlfriend when I was young. At the Beach.

But the WHO deemed Trannies as having a Mental disorder until 2019.

Obviously, they're not mentally disturbed. It's the rest of us that are.

Apparently. Do you know where he went to school. I have not seen it and no one has mentioned it that I saw.
Don't know.

Don't care.

The kid was nuts. Period. Somebody should have Baker Acted his ass. We have it in Florida.

The Baker Act is Florida's Mental Health Act, a law that allows individuals experiencing a mental illness to be involuntarily examined and temporarily detained for up to 72 hours at a crisis facility or hospital if they pose a danger to themselves or others and are unwilling or unable to consent to voluntary examination

Well, waddya know? Minnies odor has about the same law.

Wonder why nobody used it?? :dunno:

Minnesota law allows for involuntary commitment if an individual poses a substantial risk of harm to themselves or others due to their condition and is likely to benefit from treatment. The process is initiated by contacting a county agency or attorney, who then determines if a petition for commitment is appropriate.
Key aspects of Minnesota's civil commitment process:

  • Grounds for commitment:The legal basis for an involuntary commitment in Minnesota is the presence of a mental illness or chemical dependency that leads to the individual being unable to care for themselves or posing a risk of substantial harm to themselves or others.
  • Initiation of process:An interested person (a petitioner) can begin the process by contacting the relevant county agency, such as the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, which is responsible for screening the situation and determining whether to proceed with a commitment petition.
  • Medical evaluation:A medical doctor, licensed psychologist, or advanced practice registered nurse must submit an examiner's statement as part of the commitment process.
  • Review and report:The county agency typically interviews the individual, petitioners, family members, and other concerned parties, reviews relevant records, and prepares a report for the county attorney to review and decide on the petition for commitment.
  • Purpose:The process is designed to provide involuntary mental health or chemical dependency treatment for individuals who cannot or will not seek help on their own, but it also involves legal procedures and oversight.

Tim,

Before prayer was removed from school, there were actual high school rifle teams and students would take their .22lr rifles to school. There were no school shootings or mass shootings for that matter (when most homes had revolvers, shotguns, and rifles). Now, after the Left's social revolution, America is a failing society.
Your dates are a little out of sync. Prayer in schools was not allowed after the early 1960's. I was a member of my school's rifle team and shot 22LR competition rifles we carried to matches in our own hands. That was in 1977.

Schools today have air rifles.

Yeah? Well, in my day they used Prisoners from Death Row as moving targets. :salute:
