Trump issued a proclamation that the 1798 law was newly in effect due to what he claimed was an invasion by the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.
Trump’s invocation of the act could allow him to deport any noncitizen he says is associated with the gang, without offering proof or even publicly identifying them. The plaintiffs filed their suit on behalf of several Venezuelans in U.S. custody who feared they’d be falsely accused of being Tren de Aragua members and improperly removed from the country.'

Actually in Communist systems there are no checks and balances on power in government.
It appears you oppose the idea of another COEQUAL branch of our government doing its duty and serving as a (constitutionally appointed) CHECK AND BALANCE on Trump's executive power.

District courts have no constitutional authority, they rule in their districts.
Only the Supreme Court has co-equal authority for checks & balance
The supremes told the district judge to file in the right district and not to infringe on presidential authority.
The check was the American people electing him.
If he was doing something illegal, then yes the courts can stop it.
Like when the courts ruled Biden’s Vax mandate was illegal.
Deporting illegals is what the executive branch is supposed to do.

Actually upholding his oath of office is what the POTUS and all the rest of The Executive Branch is supposed to do.
Habeus Corpus and due process rights (for ALL PEOPLE, "legal" and "illegal" alike. FULL STOP. No caveats) are enshrined in that document.
Once Trump wipes his ass with that document, then appeals a lower federal court ruling to The SCOTUS and gets shot down 9-0.....then throws the bird to even that ruling......he has blatantly violated his oath of office and is DARING everyone to do something about it.
In short he is definitely NOT "doing what he is supposed to do.
At this point either The 25th Amendment or impeachment in The House followed by conviction in The Senate are the only remedies

The SCOTUS ruled 9-0 ordering Trump to facilitate the mans return.
Which means nothing. If he is returned, he’d be “facilitated” by being arrested again, and deported again.
