2) He's too old.

It makes sense that Bloomberg money is shaping the Democrat's nomination process. That's exactly what he intends to do. Bloomberg doesn't really want to be President. He is an authoritarian: He wants to have control over the Democrat Party and the Democrat President, should one be elected.
