I agree! I bet it isn't like this for the rest of the world...excluding Australia. Maybe, in the UK? I don't know...

From what I know - all our Western countries face that problem - since they out-rule a more authoritarian handling by the parents and many of the parents additionally lack respect and morals themselves.

E.g. Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France are still okay in regards to the level of deadly events - simply due to strict gun laws and even knife laws.
