I don't think Trump really cares that much about abortion. He never talks about it. It Was the Supreme Court that couldn't find abortion in the Constitution so they just shipped the issue down to the States and Trump says "whatever".

The current admin didn’t when they held both houses of congress after Roe was over turned. Anyone who believes they are going to pass legislation now is t payi attention
