No one can say definitively that Trump or his operatives during the campaign were not "wiretapped." There are literally thousands of people with either the resources to do it or have access to those resources, and such activities are often carried out without the knowledge of managers and the top people in the organization.

Which is not to say that he WAS wiretapped, only that no individual has sufficient knowledge to say with certainty that he was not.

And if there is one good thing to come out of this, maybe it is that Trump has been continually having his hand slapped for the past three weeks for tweeting something totally ******* stupid. The question is, is he smart enough to learn from this particular mistake?

As for collusion with "The Russians," I maintain that this is, as Ted Cruz said, a big Nothing Burger. In the absence of actual ballot tampering or the publication of false information, I see nothing that Trump campaign COULD HAVE DONE that amounts to a crime. Let us not forget that NO ONE thought Trump had even a snowball's chance in heaven of winning this election. ALL OF THE EXPERTS were saying things like, "Trump has less than a X% chance of winning."

Trump himself was planning to create a political action organization where, for a small monthly fee, you could help to make life miserable for President Hillary and her minions, for as long as they were in office.

So the question is not really, "Did Trump collude with the Russians," but "So what if he did?"

a. First thing to note is that the President has a firm grasp on grammar, as he used quotation marks judiciously: "wires tapped."

Quotation marks are often used with technical terms, terms used in an unusual way, or other expressions that vary from standard usage.

Examples:
It's an oil-extraction method known as "fracking."
He did some "experimenting" in his college days.

The significance here is very great.....with those quotation marks, President Trump is reminding all that wires need not be the subject....it is the act of surveillance....observing his private communications, that is the issue.

b. Sooooo....the Liberal attempt to claim 'a lie!!!! This lie: "No wires were tapped!!!".....clearly an attempt to cloud the issue by the lying Left.
Just admit that Obamunists surveilled Trump.

Oh yeah, 100% correct. Maybe Comey didn't want to go down that rathole knowing nothing could or would be done about it anyway, like with the Hillary server thing. Who's going to stand up in a court of law and testify against her? I think he used the pretext of 'can't prove intent' to get out of that imbroglio, even though the particular law doesn't require proof of intent.
