The rag weed that grows in ditches in the Midwest is not illegal in world production. There are hemp fiber markets all over the place. You don't need extremely potent strains of mind-numbing superpot to be legalized in order to make rope and textiles from ditch-weed stems.

The simple fact is that legalizing potent pot in the US has destroyed a significant portion of the Mexican economy and my guess is they aren't happy about it; precisely at the moment we really need them to cooperate with us. So it's creating a problem for the US. All it would take is for someone to bribe Mexico with more money than we do, and don't think for a minute that Mexican officials haven't already penciled-out the numbers on playing one bloc of superpowers' money against American aide. We'd better come up with some kind of plan to make up the amount of their economy we destroyed by making pot legal [free] in the US. Maybe pay them more for oil or something? I dunno.

They are coming because Obama spent tax payer money to get word to everyone that they need to come on in and get their freebies. Now Biden and Obama are out there saying that the illegals are what will save us.

I'd like Obama to explain himself on this one. He started by joining forces with the Mexican government to run ads to make people aware of what awaits them on the other side of the border. Freebies and amnesty.

They've been coming in droves from all over the globe. They run right up to border patrol to begin the catch and release, then will get fed and a bed to sleep in. They know they will not get deported. They've heard about the special favors and freebies given to illegal immigrants. People say they were told that they should come because Obama is offering them a better life.

Impose a 1,000% tax on all money being wired to Mexico. You want to send $100? That will be $1100!

And the same goes for money sent to every other country? And monies sent by businesses? And even if it were legally and practically feasible, this little plan wouldn't just create a booming new industry couriering hard cash back across the border and then returning with more drugs, illegals, etc.?

It would dramatically slow the flood of money to Mexico....

It wouldn't work, won't happen, and such idle speculation solves nothing. Get past the little emo-girl nonsense and focus on practical solutions.
