I'm starting a campaign with a slogan to raise awareness of a growing problem.

It is estimated that there are 91.4 million smartphones in the US alone. Insurance estimates say that 10% of smartphone users will drop their phones in the toilet. That means that there are somewhere near 9 million smartphones taking the plunge. At $200-400 per phone this phenomena is costing the American public upwards of a billion dollars. This must stop.

Something more needs to be done to raise awareness to this urgent problem.

Maybe there needs to be a day set aside? Something like "No Poop Tuesday" or maybe we can organize a "Sit-In" accross the nation.
