The fault at the center bottom of the Atlantic passes through Iceland, which is the only part of it above sea level. The slant of that fault pushes Europe SE and Greenland NW, why Greenland has gone from forest to ice age in the past 2 million years. So Greenland froze while Europe thawed, because Greenland moved within 600 miles of the North Pole, while Europe moved further away.

Have you ever seen one discuss the reasons why the planet cooled for 50 million years? Have you ever seen one explain why the last interglacial period was 2C warmer with 26ft higher seas and 120 ppm LESS CO2?

Both. Surface ice affects local currents in the Arctic. A very sensitive region for glaciation. Density affects deep ocean currents that are driven by differences in density (i.e. salinity). Meltwater lowers the differences in density. Glaciation increases differences in density. So it's cyclical.
