A Phenomenon Beyond Comprehension

That phenomenon is that a near majority of American citizens have been trained to walk blindly over the edge of a cliff when simply accepting that the cliff is there no longer represents reality. Lying to oneself has trumped (pun intended) survivabilty.

1. Often, known as cognitive dissonance….. the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.
For example, a HR manager who is asked to dismiss an employee for misconduct without appropriate evidence or with the evidence pointing against the actions being taken will experience significant cognitive dissonance (Google)

Usually such an action leaves the person….uncomfortable, sensing that they not behaving rationally....one knows they have done or said something wrong, that doesn't fit the facts......
....yet, such counterintuitive behavior is regularly observed in the political realm, by voters, and here on the board.

2. Just this week, a striking example, and it reflects millions of Democrat voters, wherein the voter knows that his basis for voting is flawed….yet cannot break free of the desire to support liars and criminals.



3. In the interminable effort by those who favor Marxism, there is the never-ending attack on American hero, Senator Joseph McCarthy, eponymous of ‘McCarthyism,’ and one poster came up with this knee-jerk post from one of the indoctrinated:

“ There were hundreds if not thousands of people who lost jobs, careers, even families based on McCarty's (sic) over reach and list he compiled and interrogated. Innocent people.”
Yea Or Nay?
One hears this time and again from the indoctrinated....
If this is true…..it should be eminently simple to prove.

Name one.

4. The media, academia, Leftists of every sort, have drummed away on this lie about McCarthy due to their desire to advance communism, to shield it from any exposure. In one simple sentence I prove it a lie…
I challenged the poster, Elmer, as I do every time they post this sort of slander:
“Name one innocent American whose life was ruined by Senator Joseph McCarthy.”

There are none, as this dunce soon found out.

Yet he continued to post variations on the same lie.
One lie about Trump after another is exposed......but the lemmings continue to parrot them....the "Elmer Phenomenon."





5. The same phenomenon occurs when Trump is brought up, and the Democrats are challenged to compare reality to what they have been ordered to believe.

The truly curious thing about what one reads today about Senator McCarthy is that EVERYTHING presumes that there were no actual communists infiltrating government and Hollywood...that he was completely delusional.

But the fact is that they were a significant presence in both. Both CPUSA members and "fellow travelers," who bought into Communist propaganda and sought to lay the groundwork for a communist takeover in the U.S.

And of course we have the same thing today, but they cloak themselves in other words and organizations, and the public is too blind to see what is happening.
