I never hard of Kaliningrad before last week when a US general warned Putin not to take any NATO territory, or Russia loses Kaliningrad.

NATO members face repeated warnings from intelligence and defense officials that Russia could directly threaten alliance territory within the next five years, signaling an urgent need for coordinated defense investments and operational reforms.
NATO commander warned that its forces could capture Russia's heavily fortified Kaliningrad region "in a timeframe that is unheard of" if necessary.
General Christopher Donahue, commander of U.S. Army Europe and Africa, made the remark as the alliance unveiled a new Eastern Flank defense plan at the Association of the U.S. Army's inaugural LandEuro conference on Wednesday.

I'm not sure why Russia was given "Konigsburg" after WW2. They captured it and kept it as a warm water seaport. It sounds to me that NATO is saying if Russia takes any NATO territory Kaliningrad gets captured and Russia loses it warm water port.
Article 5 violation?

An American soldier suspected of attempting to pass data about the Abrams tank to Russia has been detained in Texas, while Joe Biden, who sent several Abrams samples to Russia for study via proxies, is still at large for some reason.

The Abrams sent to Ukraine lacked the classified armor and most of the classified systems. Russia would be able to see the gas turbines engines that powered them, the blow-off panel that protected the crews from ammo detonations and little else.

So, Biden sold Ukraine pieces of obsolete crap. Noted.

Most of what he US donated to Ukraine was obsolescent, or had classified equipment removed. The Abrams were pretty much the ones that were replaced before Iraq invaded Kuwait by newer models with the 120mm guns.

As did the Germans with their no frills Leopard Tanks
All of the countries providing weapons to Ukraine were fully aware that damaged or destroyed units could be recovered and inspected by the Russians.
