I think you really need to go back and read how this process works and why things happen the way they do.

Often times they can't get to a final vote until they go thru the process of getting a bill in the form that will get the votes needed to pass.
Used to be everything took 60 votes to pass the Senate.....but thru reconciliation they can pass it on a majority vote.

The Democrats aren't interested in helping fix problems. They only cause problems. So the bill has to go thru these hoops just to get it to the point were a president can sign the thing. The spending cuts will have to come later after the tax cuts and other measures are law. That is the primary focus right now. If not.....we're going into a recession when the tax increases Biden signed kick in. My income tax deduction will be cut in half and my Medicare premiums with go up 400%.

True. The CBO assumed 1.8% GDP growth, the actual should be closer to 3% GDP.
Not counting Fed interest rate cuts on "interest on the debt"
Not counting if the senate raises the top tax rate to 40% as Trump wants
Not counting any more DOGE spending cuts
Not counting if the Senate can cut any spending

That is a lie. The CBO just revised the BBB's deficit from $3.8T in 10-years to $2.7T due to tariffs. That was a SWAG that is still probably too low.

So vote for Republicans in 2026 and 2028 to keep them

The CBO did the math.

Biden's last budget had a $1.7T DEFICIT a year, the BBB has about $270b unless the Fed's rate cuts allows the economy to grow more than 1.8% a year. A surplus for the BBB is achievable, especially if the Senate does a money saving tweek, like a 40% top rate, or spending cuts.

So you are unaware that CBO can only project our budgets with how the law exists.

This is the guise for overtime and tips tax exemption. The tax cuts, under their law in this BBB, end in a three years and the rest of the 10yr projected budget includes the revenues for taxing the overtime hours and tips because the tax cuts for those two things expire and are not made permanent in the bill.

But you know, when their expiration comes around, just like these expired tax cuts from 2017s bill extended in the BBB, congress WILL extend them...so all the revenue the CBO estimated that would be coming in to the revenue coffer due to their expiration, will never be collected, and will raise our deficit and debt greater than CBO could and did, estimate.
