Your Imagination
Those still clinging to a belief set that leans on any of the three ancient Arab stories still popular among the religious in the early 21st Century are right about one thing.....

Plus or minus twelve thousand years ago, something major happened. :disbelief:

The human experience changed. Radically.

Coincidentally, it was about twelve millennia ago that the words based language and math used in describing things, documenting things and writing shit down for posterity evolved among, or was given to, or was stolen by the monkeys that were becoming Mother Earth's Monkeys with a capital 'M' for Sentience; a.k.a. me and all y'all.

And now look at us with our world-wide internet, fancy Word processors and communications technology! :spinner:

And The Word was God

It was about four thousand years ago that the ever widening family of a Monkey Abraham began to devote resources in earnest toward the preservation and documentation of the ancient stories would coalesce into the book that all three of the Abraham-based religions are founded on, becoming The People of the Book - Wikipedia.

So..... the written words that can trace their origins and authenticity back the farthest in Time are also the books that are the foundation of the three most popular religions of the 21st Century? :eusa_eh:

Coincidence? :eusa_think:

If you had the technology then, would you have the People of the Book?

Look at all the wars and messages that took 6 months to get. Would a cell phone have changed it all?

60 years ago people thought humanity would be destroyed by nuclear warfare. Now we know it will be global warming that kills us all.

And 400 years ago even the white folk were owned by their good, Christian king.

Baby steps... Frustrating baby steps.
