If the GOP does anything the Dems will give them nothing, because compromise to a Dem means "We get what we want"
Dems compromised on Obamacare and the Infrastructure Bill

Republicans can’t even compromise on keeping the Government open……Ask McCarthy

Republicans don't even know how to govern, just fight among themselves and conduct partisan, meritless investigations.

As expected, you couldn’t address the disaster that is the Biden, Dem / Socialist policy of importing millions of illegals. You couldn’t address the child sex trafficking, fentanyl deaths and terrorists crossing the border. That’s how you define “governing”.

They compromise like Hitler compromised at Munich.
How so?

Dems compromised on Universal Healthcare and offered a “Clean” infrastructure bill to appease Republicans

But to Repubicans, working with Dems is like Hitler.
That is what they have been taught

Okay, what bills did the 118th congress pass then.

Please cite. The government is weeks from shutting down.
Or are you referring to the bills that got McCarthy fired by his own party?
The CR was for 45-days. The senate needs to get busy or the government shuts down.

“For weeks, I have worked tirelessly with my Republican colleagues in the House to pass our 2024 spending bills. We have passed over 70% of all funding, whereas the Senate has passed zero.
