Of course Chinese want cars ... and decent apartments and everything else. And they build these things and their people work hard to buy them. And their students study hard. And their scientists invent stuff. And they are ahead of us with 5G and they .... really don’t need us at all.

Wake up. We use our “freedom” to invent conspiracies and fight each other. We divide our own people and exploit half the people of the world. Our military bases span the globe and surround Russia and China.

The last time I checked Chinese also have ten times the number of electric cars and electric charging stations we do.

Yet China is still far behind us in many ways. Their average real per capita income is maybe a third or a quarter of ours. They have terrible pollution. Of course their government denies them free speech and a free press. Let’s get our own shit together so we can protect our democracy and stay out of foreign wars. If we don’t attack China, it won’t attack us.
