The Beck synopsis is actually chilling. For the sake of the continuation of the great American experiment of a Constitutional republic, these investigations and prosecutions MUST proceed.

Having said that, let me point out a few things that are facts, as to why Trump was so strongly gone after by the Democrats

1) Trump had proven to be incompetent in the past (good reason to go after him for not becoming president)
2) Trump had proven to not care about Americans (his charity, his online school, and the thousands of lawsuits brought to him in the past proved that)
3) Trump and his group had proven to have many contacts and interest in Russia (a proven enemy) and there were GOOD reasons to check to see why and for what reason those contacts had been made.
4) Trump was proven to not have any experience as a politician and as such, there were reasons to believe he would not know what to do in a Democracy environment.

These above are all facts that were known about Trump "before" he tried to become president and good reasons to after him or at least investigate him and his reasons for trying to be president.
