a chain is no stronger than its weakest link. . America's homeless

Most addicts have mental and emotional issues, so I believe it is a mental health issue and I also know people that are working and can’t afford housing. $15 an hour is a city where the average rent is $3000 is not doable, on the other hand when housing is provided, many take advantage and abuse the system that helps them out.
Right. And those who have a home never abuse a damn thing, do they?

they are saints, I guess...

you did say it in so many words

and then you virtually confirmed in your last sentence here

I did not say it

And I have just confirmed specifically that not all homeless are drug addicts

But informed persons confirm that drugs are the major driving force

who says? You?

anyone reading these posts on this topic knows that I (not you apparently) have experience with homeless people

and I am not saying that (all homeless or most are druggies). Plus I knew this homeless shelter administrator who, when I asked what was the main reason people are homeless

(this was a couple yrs ago) said

People lost their jobs bc of (my words) stupid covid policies

This person also seemed to imply that it was a problem that simply got worse bc of covid policies (blue state..) but had always been the case.. that people become homeless when they lose their jobs.. and people lose their jobs all the damn time.. so why this idiotic stereotype that all or most homeless are irresponsible drug abusers and/or crazy and/or dangerous?

some are. Most are not, according to my info, drawn from experience

Never said that, however a homeowner is abusing their own home, not a home provided by others. It isn’t as simple as you seem to claim.

you have a lot of pride, can't admit you may have been wrong about something...

Pride cometh b4 a fall

hope u don't fall into Hell in the end.. like most people do (according to Jesus)

You are entitled to your opinion

But people on the street would disagree with your sanitized view of the situation

Drugs rule the streets
