Doubt it will holdup in court one would think common sense would tell you it’s a bad idea to taunt or insult a police officer especially in that type of situation.

It already is illegal...its called interfering with a police officer and impeding his ability to do his job....
We have all the laws we need...but today US law is a moving target...it depends on who is actually doing the crime whether it will be enforced or not....and this comes from the top down....from the FBI on down to the local Sherriff....

Not at all. Speech has always been subject to time and place requirements.
