Originally this far left group split from the Dem party but The Dems had reabsorbed this progressive movement later, because they love stealing the support base(basically cheating elections by not seperating parties and giving all parties equal rights) forcing communists to need the more accepted powerful outreach of the Dem party. So because Dems cared more about power base then Democracy rights and Stability of the country, they sold out and allowed communism to work amongst the Dems till as we see now they blended and absorbed to become almost one in the same like a wolf in sheeps clothes gaining popularity like terrorists groups do through the guise of social activism that is actually for power & self benefit hiding behind fake good will.
