^^^ The lady said that her landlord never got the rent check that she wrote. To me, should've stopped the payment on that check and wrote her landlord a new one and gave it to them personally if that is possible.

P.S. How much is it these days to stop the payment on a check? I know that back in 2011, it was somewhere between $30.00-$40.00.
