A 63 year old movie describes us a little too well

They know exactly what the point is. They'll do or say anything to avoid dealing with it.
That goes back to the quote: What about those of us who knew better? We who knew the words were lies, and worse than lies? Why did we sit silent? Why did we take part?

They get angry with me because they know this is about THEM, not the orange con man. They are either lying, or they are completely ignorant of history.

Problem is that Nuremberg was a show case trial and 100% Fake .

You can immediately see exactly why it was a complete farce when you have read this 2021 Miles Mathis paper .
Usual deep research and scholarly high standard .

No wonder the CIA and Deep State detest him but cannot shut him up .
He is a one man Wikileaks but turbo charged .

An extraordinary man whose other talents as artist and theoretical scientist put him above Einstein ( whom he destroys) and Newton .

8/14/21,
The Nuremberg Trials were Faked.
Holy shit.

So much for this poster

I don'think he mentioned Trump, that is your distillation. The passage tries to explain how a nation can be manipulated by desperation and hopelessness into doing things that were previously unthinkable, and making it seem right. Germany was broken economically and spiritually after WW1 and the treaty of Versailles, and Hitler promised the hopeless people hope, and they willingly followed him down the hoot owl trail waving the flag. If Hitler wasn't there they would have followed someone else of invented him (or her). I think this just sailed over your head, as it does a lot of people today, trying to make every issue for or about Trump, the important details get lost in the rhetoric.
The then globalists stirred things up and helped to create Nazi Germany. The conditions were ripe for that nation to become what it did.

Individuals driven to hopelessness and despair will do anything, blame anyone to make it stop.

Why would a nation deliberately do that to its people?

Above all, there was fear. Fear of today, fear of tomorrow. Fear of our neighbors, and fear of ourselves. Only when you understand that, can you understand what (he) meant to us. Because he said to us, "lift your heads, be proud to be (who you are). There are devils among us -- communists, liberals, jews, gypsies. Once these devils will be destroyed, your misery will be destroyed". It was the old, old story of the sacrificial lamb.
There is only one common theme in every Trump speech, and that is how awful things are and how awful things will be if he is not elected. Every single campaign speech is the same.

And the sheep are scared enough to believe every word. You have to be scared and miserable to support Trump, to say nothing of extremely gullible.

That's not the Nazis
That was the trans genocide under the Trump administration

I think it's top of the list for project 2025
Restart trans genocide

How does that work exactly? Who is doing what? It hasn't been White Conservatives killing them.

There are a couple-few dozen trans murders every year, and Black Americans make up around 70% of perps on average.

And yet they have been walking out early of the half filled rallies

They've been driven to this over the last four decades, beginning the day Limbaugh went national. Now they're being pounded on, 24/7/365. They're miserable, they're paranoid, and they're fully manipulated & malleable.

It's non-stop. On their TV, their phone, their radio, their computer, all day, every day. That's one huge difference between today and Europe of 90 years ago.

The Nazis were condemned at Nuremberg for promoting abortion in the occupied territories.

Hitler, like many dictators, also wanted the government to have a monopoly on guns.

Wrong and wrong.

Germany was one of the few countries that executed people for performing abortions, including inside Vichy France.

The Nazis rolled back the Weimar gun laws.

Look at the facts.

Did the Nazis confiscate guns from those they considered unreliable?

Were the Nazis condemned at the Nuremberg trials for promoting abortion in the occupied territories?

So now we see these people defending Nazis. "Well, at least they didn't take guns or allow abortions".

Holy shit.

I sure did nail it in the OP, didn't I?

I'm posting this in the Politics section because it so eerily describes our current political climate. I was watching a 1961 movie last night, and a moment in the movie absolutely blew my mind.

At a key moment in the movie (at 2:18:00), a judge (played by Burt Lancaster) who is on trial describes a dark time in the country's history:

There was a fever over the land. A fever of disgrace, of indignity, of hunger. We had a democracy, yes. But it was torn by elements within.

What about those of us who knew better? We who knew the words were lies, and worse than lies? Why did we sit silent? Why did we take part? Because we loved our country. What difference does it make if a few political extremists lose their rights? What difference does it make if a few racial minorities lose their rights? It is only a passing phase! It is only a stage we're going through! It will be discarded sooner or later! The leader himself will be discarded sooner or later!

The country is in danger. We will march out of the shadows. We will go forward! And history tells us how well we succeeded, your honor.

Pretty amazing. The scene is from Judgment at Nuremberg, 1961.

"Judgement At Nuremberg", is one of my all favorites. Lancaster play a German Judge. He was trial for crimes against humanity. Richard Widmark played U.S. Army Prosecutor. A very young William Shatner played an officer assigned the Lancaster character. A very telling and dramatic story of how the Nazi's gained power in Germany.

The OP is mistaken for a number of reasons.
  • Many Republicans lean libertarian and support individual liberty.
  • Communism (Marxism-Leninism) is very similar to fascism.
  • The left has their own scapegoats.
  • The reigning establishment is liberal and they are the ones engaging in lawfare and censorship and discrimination.

You fucking piece of shit. You are defending Nazi's!!!!!

You ain't the beans it takes to make a fart.

Looks like your brain is malfunctioning, I am opposing Nazis.

Dictators who confiscate guns from their enemies and push abortion on their enemies are behaving like Nazis. Does this describe you?
