Tkachuk brothers both got into a fight. J.T Miller took one of our big D Men, it wasn't much of a fight though but he has some balls.

I didn't like the boos of the anthem, I never do. Michelle Kwan introduced the U.S, GSP introduced the Canadian team. It fired the U.S players up to hear the boos and it would bother me too if it occurred in another nation. They are oddly the more physically built team which is what Canada always used to bring.

Game is tied 1-1, it's been a barn burner already. The best players in the NHL, in the world really.

It has been a very physical game.

They are booing trump
Naw, this has been building since NAFTA in my lifetime, hell, since Gretzky was traded to L.A, I kid you not. The papers at the time were outraged he was traded to the U.S and they viciously blamed his wife Janet Jones. We have always had a centralized, covert police state operating in Ontario, especially in Toronto and it has made Canadians whiny, arrogant, entitled and hyper sensitive. Dont be surprised if a foreign ally in Europe worked overtime to fan these flames of division over the decades, they don't want to see America gain too much influence. The S.IC destroyed our country, fed misplaced priorities and made our citizens weak and disrespectful. If Canada beats Finland, the Canandian anthem will be booed mercilessly in Boston next Saturday.

And …

The win goes to …

U.S.A. !!
This was headline news in many U.S news outlets, including Fox News.

I suppose it takes such a shocking start to a hockey game during tense times for the NHL to get headlines. Any news is good news right? That NEVER happens in International hockey except for the Canadian Juniors vs the Russians in the 1980s, THAT was brutal. So bad that the arena turned out the lights, I'm sure its on youtube.

The U.S played a shutdown defensive style, Canadians went with a talent-laden lineup where in the past they would have looked for balance. We are missing a player like Tom Wilson, a 6'4 power forward who I would have taken in a flash over one or two of our skilled forwards as an example.

The U,S style is designed to beat Team Canada. They are built the way team Canada used to built our teams. Our goaltending has been subpar too while the U.S have a great goaltender.

Canada has to beat Finland in regulation time tomorrow at 1pm. If they do, they will meet the U.S in the Finals on Saturday, in Boston.

I don't like our chances in that scenario unfortunately. Makar, who is the best rushing D Man in the league has been injured for Canada, he could be a real wildcard as he can break through any team, I bet he plays on Saturday if Canada beats Finland.

No. They were booing Trump.

No. They were booing Trump.
It goes beyond that, trust me. I could give you too many examples, including booing the anthem in the past.

It goes well beyond Trump.

Trust me...

Sure, but this excessive booing started to be happen and be talked about the Tariff Announcement.

Deny it all you want, trump fueled this. No Doubt.

This is just the most recent excuse. These are too many in this country looking for excuses to hate America and to belittle your country all the time (this is the insecurity we suffer from due to efforts of powerful authorities here and in Europe).

I've never understood this, nor even the arrogance but most of them are government employees I presume. I have experienced situations where Americans would try to take little digs at me being Canadian, though not very often. I always shrug it off because I am inherently confident, I have pretty thick skin and I'm not going to worry about that sort of stuff.

I've always head pretty good conversations with Americans because I think I "get them". I have more in common with them often than my fellow Canadians who are very caste-driven and care little about individual freedoms and civil liberties.
